We survey your property and assess the work required, whether it be temporary repairs, or the option for longer lasting works if the roof is older and would benefit from a complete overhaul or replacement.
Following the initial inspection, a quotation is generated as soon as all prices are obtained from the Merchants. The most competitive prices are sought along with a 15 year guarantee on materials. For example, with Scotch or Spanish slating jobs, we will always utilise copper nails rather than cheaper galvanised nails, to avoid eventual rust and nail sick slates which can result in water ingress happening much more quickly.
As soon as we have your signed Acceptance slip together with a deposit to purchase the materials, we will get your job booked in as soon as possible. Urgent jobs with large roof leaks are given priority to avoid further damage to property. Once we have completed the full job to your satisfaction, we then ask for settlement of the outstanding balance for works within 7 days of completion.

We start from the top down. If the roof is properly sealed, with the right tiles or slates, with the correct overlap and underlay, then there is no reason the property should leak. Similarly if there is no cracked lead-work, skews or clogged gutters then there is no reason the property should leak.

James and Gary turned up each day on time and completed a full strip and re-slate of my roof after numerous leaks had developed from previous less experienced workers from another firm .
